UV-Resistant PP/PVC Honeycomb Lamella Tube Settler Clarifier Factory & Suppliers in China

,

Traditional clarifiers often require significant space and time for settling, as particles with a higher specific gravity than the wastewater settle at varying rates. In contrast, lamella clarifiers offer a highly efficient solution that can reduce the necessary tank volume by 2 to 4 times. These innovative systems feature multiple channels that maximize surface area, which significantly shortens the settling path for particles in wastewater treatment. As a leading factory in China, we pride ourselves on designing lamella clarifiers backed by our extensive experience in plastic engineering and water treatment technology, ensuring optimized performance and reliability. As trusted suppliers in the industry, we deliver cost-effective and effective wastewater treatment solutions tailored to your needs.

    How Tube Settlers Work

Water flows through the inclined honeycomb channels, where the flow is guided, and the velocity is reduced. This allows suspended solids in the water to settle to the bottom of the tubes due to gravity. The 60-degree angle accelerates the settling process as solid particles in the water are more easily driven downward by gravity at this angle.
The honeycomb structure of tube settlers significantly increases the contact area between the water and the settling surface. This not only improves the settling efficiency of solid matter in the water but also effectively optimizes the use of space in the clarifier. By increasing the surface area, more suspended solids can settle in a shorter amount of time, reducing the required volume of the settling tank.
As the water flows through the honeycomb structure and passes through the settling zone, the majority of the solid particles in the water have already settled to the bottom of the tank. The clarified water is then discharged through pipes at the top, completing the settling process.

    Frequently Asked Questions

QWhat is the main purpose of using tube settlers?

Tube settlers are designed to increase the settling capacity of circular clarifiers and rectangular sedimentation basins by reducing the vertical distance a floc particle must fall before coalescing into larger particles.

QWhy is a 60-degree inclination angle used for tube settlers?

A 60-degree angle provides the optimal balance between high settling efficiency and self-cleaning. It allows gravity to pull the settled solids down the slope into the hopper, preventing sludge accumulation inside the tubes.

QHow does the honeycomb structure optimize water treatment?

The honeycomb configuration maximizes the effective settling area within a compact footprint. This structure guides the water flow uniformly, reduces turbulence, and accelerates the separation of suspended solids from the liquid.

QCan tube settlers be retrofitted into existing water treatment tanks?

Yes, tube settlers are highly adaptable and can easily be customized to fit various shapes and sizes of existing clarifiers, significantly upgrading their processing capacity without requiring extensive civil engineering changes.

QWhat materials are tube settlers typically made of?

They are commonly manufactured using lightweight, durable plastics such as PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) or PP (Polypropylene), which provide excellent chemical resistance, UV stability, and structural strength.
